Wish I had a photo

I want to say something thought provoking but nothing comes to mind. Oh dear. I think some visual aids could help this blog. Compared to everyone elses' blogs, mine looks drab indeed.

Well, if I had a camera and knew how to freaking put pictures on this thing, I would have taken a picture of the robins I saw today near the Metro Link station. It was the best thing in the world. There were about 15-20 of them hanging out on a patch of frozen grass. Their feathers were all fluffed up in an attempt to brave Mr. North Wind's bitter breaths (What did we ever do to him?). It was a wonderous sight, let me tell you.

I've always loved robins: Their brown, doe eyes and puffy red breasts. They are gentle, just hopping around minding their own business. Growing up Maggie and I convinced ourselves a certain Robin returned every Spring. I imagined he knew me well.

If I could be any bird, I would be a Robin I think. What about you?

Well, that's it for now. Perhaps the thought of Robins will remind you a bit of Spring. These birds are good at that.

chirp, chirp!
