A Black Mailing Brother

Oh dear, my little brother just discovered my blog. He threatened to post some comments that he claimed "would ruin my reputation" should they be seen by the public eye. After a wrestling match (I triumphed) and the warning that he wouldn't be allowed to go over to his triplet friends' house for a whole year, should he post black mail material, I left him to his sinister devices. So far he has not posted a comment but should a scandelous comment be found, in all likely-hood, you know the source!

Movie Tag

Here you go Neil!

1) What is a movie that changed the way you think and act? Or just got you thinking, if the first question is too intimidating.

"Romero"
"Eyes on the Prize"

2) It's a late autumn evening and rainy and cold? What do you have for dinner/snack?

Toast, coffee, boiled egg.

"Little Women" because "I can never love anyone as I love my sisters"

3) You are off to wee Himalayan hamlet for a year, your laptop hard drive can hold one film. What will it be?

"Tender Mercies"

4) What movie made you laugh the hardest? What movie made you cry?

Laugh? I rarely laugh in movies, though I did laugh uncontrollably at a Sherlock Homes movie I got my little bro this past Christmas. Homes was high on Opium most of the time and it was just a terrible movie to watch with a family at Christmas time.

Cry? "Romero" and "Little Women" (when the nurse spreads the rose petals across Beth's pillows I weep)

5) Favorite actor (female, male)?

Emma Thomson in "Much Ado about Nothing".

James Dean in "East of Eden".

6) What book or story would you like to see made into a film or what book do you love that could never be made into a film?

Maybe the story of Ruth, though I imagine Holleywood doing it all wrong.

7) What is a movie that immediately after you watched it, you wish you hadn't?

"The Piano",
"Angel on my Shoulder" (I think that's the title)

8) Do you read movie reviews? Before, after, never? Whose reviews do you find the best? Are you an analyzer?

Usually never.

I do analyize, much to Abby's dissatisfaction!

9) What movie do you think is a must see, but that you can only recommend with caveats? What movie do you really like, but can only recommend with caveats?

"Dream Life of Angels"

"Jesus of Montreal"

"Heaven"

10) What movie do you most wish to share with your friends?

"Tender Mercies"

"The Color of Paradise"

"East of Eden"

"Romero"

Now tag at least 5 people

if there is anyone left I tag you!
